The learner can:

    • Identify what daily checks you need to make on the herd
    • Identify what other less regular checks are needed and why
    • Carry out daily checks on cattle and report these to the supervisor
    • Describe at least three aspects of caring for cattle during the summer months
    • Describe at least three aspects of caring for cattle during the winter months
