- Follow the staff modelling of how to tie a single figure of eight knot and a double figure of eight knot
- Know how to tie a single figure of eight knot independently
- Suggest one important thing to consider when choosing a site for a shelter
- Follow health and safety guidance when constructing a shelter
- Work as part of a team to securely attach ropes to the tarpaulin and fixed points
- Ensure the shelter is suitable for the purpose intended
