The learner can:
- Explore and taste a variety of sweet foods, e.g. honey, fruit, sugar
- Explore and taste a variety of sour foods, e.g. lemon juice, lime juice
- Explore and taste a variety of spicy foods, e.g. allspice, cinnamon
- Explore and taste a variety of pungent foods, e.g. onion, blue cheese
- Identify at least two tastes they like
- Identify at least two tastes they dislike
- Explore the smells of a variety of fragrant ingredients, e.g. rose water, herbs
- Explore the smells of a variety of fruity ingredients, e.g. strawberries, banana
- Explore the smells of a variety of fresh ingredients, e.g. lemon, peppermint
