The learner will:
Be able to identify items of clothing, PPE and equipment needed to take part in outdoor activities.
Be able to use changing rooms to prepare for an activity.

Assessment criteria
What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Identify at least three items of specialist clothing needed for a variety of activities e.g. wetsuit, climbing harnesses, surfboard, bow & arrow
- Identify at least three pieces of equipment needed for outdoor activities; eg surf board; paddles
- Choose the changing area relevant to them
- Remove clothing and change for the relevant activity; eg, put on a wetsuit with support when participating in surfing, bodyboarding or eco-coaster
