- Discuss with their group what it is they want to sell
- Discuss with their group design ideas
- Discuss with their group how to create the product
- List the materials and equipment needed
- Identify steps to be undertaken to create the product
- Identify the different processes and allocate these to each member of the team
- Create the product using the agreed materials
