What the learner needs to know, understand or be able to do

The learner will:

  1. Follow a sequence of prompted instructions to help set the van up at the start of service with assistance.

  2. Carry out the sequence of tasks to open the van for service independently.

Assessment criteria

What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome

The learner can:

    • State two things  that need to happen to set up the coffee van, eg opening shutters; putting out a waste bin
    • Follow instructions to set up the van on three separate dates, with assistance where required
    • Request help verbally, using gesture or using a help card
    • Accept help when offered
    • Complete a set of practised tasks relating to setting up the van, independently on three separate dates
