What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome

The learner can:

    • Listen to at least six different pieces of music
    • Listen to different styles of music including rock, folk, pop, country, soul,
    • Listen to music from three different decades
    • On two occasions, listen to two different songs and pick which of the songs they prefer
    • Describe the style of music (e.g. fast, slow, loud, quiet)
    • Describe how the song makes them feel (e.g. happy, sad,)
    • Identify what the person in the song is singing about
    • Identify whether they feel the same as the singer
