Assessment criteria
What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Empty and clean the water bowl
- Fill the chicken pellets
- Remove any old food
- Clean and replenish bedding areas in the coup
- Participate in making sure the enclosure is safe
- Dispose of old materials safely
- Identify vermin that can harm chickens (snakes, mice, rats, foxes)
