Assessment criteria
What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Clear the area, ready for the concrete
- Measure how much concrete will be needed
- Appropriately cover surfaces that need to be kept clear of the concrete and cannot be moved eg drain covers
- Show an understanding of the ratio of sand and cement to be used for different uses
- Correctly measure the sand, cement and water
- Mix the concrete to the correct consistency
