Assessment criteria
What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Identify hazards in three different rooms in a house or centre
- Identify five safety rules to apply to children in three different age groups (eg -- making sure stairs are gated when looking after crawling babies or toddlers)
- Identify two suitable activities each for children under one yr and for toddlers
- State what the activities will be
- State why these are suited to the chosen age group
- List the resources required for each activity
- Carry out the two activities
