Assessment criteria
What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Independently research and identify at least three volunteering opportunities in the local community
- Take part in a discussion to agree which volunteering opportunity/opportunities they would like to pursue
- Make contact with at least one individual to arrange voluntary work
- Plan how they will get to and from their place of volunteering
- Carry out volunteering work on at least two separate occasions
- Keep a record of their volunteering experience
