The learner will:

  1. Be able to contribute through own communication methods to a tapestry.

  2. Be able to interact with art work they have contributed to.

What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome

The learner can:

    • Accept support, with increasing independence, to attach sensory media to canvas
    • Indicate preferences to sensory media when presented with options for the canvas
    • Use senses of touch, sight, smell and sound to interact with a tapestry they have contributed to creating
    • Communicate a preference for one sensory item; for example, when exploring hearing, to look towards the sound of the crinkly paper when presented with crinkly paper and the bell embellishments
