  2. Know that asking for and giving consent is essential within a sexual relationship.

Assessment criteria

What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome

The learner can:

    • State the difference between being someone's friend and being sexually attracted to someone
    • Name at least three stages of a relationship, e.g. first date, first kiss, getting married, having sex
    • State what consent means
    • Identify in case studies, involving sexual situations, whether consent has been given or not
    • Demonstrate the ability to say yes or no to sexual behaviour in a role play situation
