What the learner needs to know, understand or be able to do
The learner will:
Set up a new track to create the remix in, and import a piece of their own music.
Using the cut tool, take segments of the original track and place it into a new channel, which will become the remixed tune channel.

Assessment criteria
What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Demonstrate setting the track to a tempo of choice
- Set up a metronome to ensure they keep time (use as required)
- Explain the structure of this remix considering the original intro, verse, chorus, outro and ending
- Demonstrate opening another channel to put the remix parts into
- Demonstrate how to import the piece of their music that is to be remixed
- Explain and demonstrate how to check each channel has sound and the music can be heard
- Explain about the cut tool
- Demonstrate how this works and show actions of this
- Choose which sections they will cut and add to the remix channel
