Learning outcomes
What the learner needs to know, understand or be able to do
The learner will:
Be able to identify different job roles and the tools or equipment needed to do that job.
Be able to create a piece of art using a selected tool or piece of equipment.
Assessment criteria
What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Explore four different occupations, to include what they do, who they help, what they wear (can be sensory exploring)
- Show what the different jobs involve and what tools or equipment they use. e.g. Hairdresser: hair brush, scissors, Dentist: toothbrush, dental floss
- Select a tool or piece of equipment e.g. hairbrush, toothbrush that is used in a particular job role
- Create a piece of art using the selected tool or equipment
