Assessment criteria
What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Watch a preferred dance routine, explain key elements of the dance, e.g. identifying how many people are dancing, the speed of the dance, the actions the people take etc
- Give example of their favourite movement within the dance, e.g. I like it when they spin, jump, turn etc
- Give a reason for warming up before taking part in a dance, e.g. to get my muscles ready, to get my heart beating faster, to keep my body safe
- Perform warm activities in a group to stretch different muscle groups, e.g. arms and legs
