The learner can:

    • Explain or demonstrate what a rhythm is
    • Repeat a rhythm they hear on percussion (including body percussion)
    • Join in with call and response activities involving percussion
    • Join in with rhythms played as a group
    • Lead call and response percussion based games
    • Make suggestions for group rhythm compositions
    • Play rhythms they have helped to compose
