Assessment criteria

What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome

The learner can:

    • Identify numbers 1 to 50 shown by others
    • Demonstrate how to sign numbers 1 to 50 independently
    • Demonstrate how to answer questions using numbers, eg their age; their year group
    • Identify their own name using BSL
    • Give at least three examples of everyday greetings such as 'hello' 'goodbye' and 'are you ok?'
    • Give at least six examples of questions to ask others such as 'what is your name?, 'where do you live?'
